The Coat of Many Colors This equine painting is of a young thoroughbred warmblood cross colt, lit up amidst the dark of the barn. A shaft of light raking horizontally across the flanks of a horse makes amazing colors happen. And this comely youngster seemed to me that he could be his father’s favorite, like Joseph with his coat of many colors.
