The Grainwoman Cometh This pastoral horse painting shows a small herd of thoroughbreds waiting for their owner at feeding time. It’s Utah in the fall, and the leaves have begun to change color. The horses have heard the 4 wheeler fire up at the ranch house, and know that the wait for that scrumptious bucket of grain can’t be long now. I did this little painting in one day, as a Christmas gift, for the owner of the horses, the Grainwoman.
