Portrait Price List

These prices were posted in 2003, and since then, through the unbridled greed, foolishness, and duplicity of both Republican and Democrat administrations, our dollar is now worth a fraction of what it was in 2003. Because the Federal Reserve contines to monetize our debt at an unprecedented rate, we will soon be experiencing Zimbabwe and Weimar like hyperinflation. These prices, therefore, are approximate at best. If you're interested in a portrait, give me a call or email me, and we can talk about an appropriate price, given the current state of the dollar and the economy. I would be willing to bet that by Fall of 2009, we'll be paying for things with gold or food. But don't get me started. I am one angry Libertarian.

Bust/Head	11 x 14, 12 x 16, 14x 18 and 16 x 20 most probable standard sizes.	$3,000 to $5,000
Head and Upper Torso	18 x 24, 22 x 28, and 24 x 30 most probable standard sizes.	$5,000 to $7,000
Head, Torso and Hands	24 x 36, 30 x 36, 30 x 40, and 36 x 48 most probable standard sizes.	$6,000 to $10,000
3/4 to Full Length	30 x 40, 36 x 48, 48 x 60, 48 x 72 most probable standard sizes.	$8,000 to $12,000

Prices for paintings with more than one sitter will be individually considered, as will outdoors scenes or interiors with multiple figures. Prices depend upon the complexity of costume, background and prop, such as animals and room furnishings.

Subjects should be prepared to meet in their own environments with the artist to discuss pose preferences, possible backgrounds and locations. This meeting will be followed by one photo session to capture the pose and a second session to refine details. Availability to pose for a brief color sketch in oils is also sometimes appreciated.
