Race Track Cathedral

Racetrack Cathedral is the rarified view from the judges' stand at the finish line, looking into the grandstand at Santa Anita Park. After the race, the horses return to their grooms and to glory or disappointment. My brother-in-law's dad, who trained thoroughbred racehorses for a living, had a horse that would attack the winning horse in the winner's circle! He had to be restrained and forcibly dragged off the track after every race that he lost.
