Ties Still Life for the RalphLauren/Polo store in New York City Mouse over the image for a close up. This was a still life of silk rep ties and tack done for the tie department in the gorgeous Ralph Lauren/Polo store in New York City. It is in the Rhinelander Mansion at Madison and 72nd, and was leased and refurbished in lavish style by the talented folks at Polo. I wish I had a better photo of the painting. It's much more refined and detailed than it looks, but this photo was taken in impossible lighting conditions right in the store. I was working under such a tight deadline that I let the painting leave the studio without being photographed.
